More Wedding Pics

More of my favorite items of the wedding day.Our wedding was the very first wedding that there was no grandparents present, which really bummed me out. So, I had pictures of each of my grandparents tied to my bouquet. My grandparents were with me the whole night. My hair! The style and the clip got lots of compliments that day. Hair

I can't decide on the hairstyle for the bridesmaids. I kind of like it a little messy and flowy looking. Although I do like some that are classic updo looks, like the first picture. I think I'm really leaning towards the last hairstyle though.

Makeup Trial #1

I had my first makeup trial with Lani. I'm still not sure who I'm going with though. I still plan to look around and try other people. I'm definitely not used to seeing myself with that much makeup. My pictures that I took with my camera make me look like a different person. Although the ones taken by her camera looked a lot better. I'll post that when she sends it to me. She also had me try on these fake eyelashes by Shu Uemura. She got them at a makeup training class. She thought it would be fun to just try it on, especially since our colors are brown and green. Here's a picture of the type of eyelashes I tried. The picture is blue, but the one I tried was green. I actually really love them. =)

Hair

I think I figured out how I want my hair to be done. I want it pulled up, but I don't want it completely pulled back. Something with more of a relaxed look. Now, on to finding a hairstylist for the day.
Maybe the back won't be that detailed as the picture, but I like the main point of it. Unless the hairstylist and I come up with a different style for my hair, this is what I want. Oh, except for one different detail. I don't want a tiara. I want a headband, or maybe flower pins. Next up after I find a hair stylist is figuring out how the girls should have their hair. Honestly, I'm thinking of having them just pick.

Hair

Ok, I still can't decide how to wear my hair. I've decided not to go with the bling because it's too pricey for a hair pin. Maybe a flower or something. Bridesmaids, I'm debating on just having them pick what they want. Each person has a different type of hair, different length. So I'm more on them just having it really fit their look. Here's what I came up with on hair styles for me.

The last two pics with the flower, I do like, but the flowers are pretty huge. Either way, I have a feeling I'm wearing it up because my dress is a tube top, so it may look better with it up. I really do like #5 though. *sigh* Decisions, decisions. What is a girl to do?

Hair: Bling

I've been thinking about how to wear my hair. I've already decided that I'm most likely not going to have a veil. The main point of the veil is to cover your face and have your new husband be the first to "open the present". I didn't really want to cover my face, and besides, we're already married legally, so that defeats the purpose. Sooo...why not some bling in my hair? Here's what I found so far. Although, it's going to depend on how I choose to wear my hair. The pins may not look the same on some styles. I love Swarovksi Crystals. Lucky for me, the pictures I found are his. =) Game plan, go to the stores in the mall to find it and see how much they cost.

Hair & Makeup

I'm looking into finding a good person that'll do my hair and makeup. They're all pretty pricey. Stacy has a friend who may be able to do my makeup, not sure how much she costs yet. I could get a free trial with her though to see if I like her.

There's another lady, Ann, from A-List Makeup that's in the area that I really like. I haven't had a trial with her, but she is still a little pricey for our budget. I could get a discount though if I went to her instead of her coming on location. She got 5 stars on Yelp.com. I went there to see more pictures. The website wasn't that helpful to me. $350 for hair and makeup if I go to her studio, plus $150 for the hair and makeup trial. Is that too pricey? Her makeup looks so natural. It's really nice.
